Microneedling FAQs

  • Topical numbing cream is applied 30 minutes in advance to reduce discomfort during the treatment.

  • Results are usually noticeable within one week after treatment and continue to improve with time as the collagen production increases. When treating skin concerns, such as melasma and deep lines/wrinkles, it can take several treatments before noticing results.

  • Results from treatment are permanent, due to increasing collagen production. We like to pair microneedling with a tailored skincare regime so that you continue changing and improving your skin!

  • The most common side effects are redness and sensitivity for up to 24 hours that feels similar to a sunburn. We send you home with a post-treatment kit so that you can continue moisturizing to help with any discomfort.

  • We recommend waiting 24 hours before applying makeup.

  • You can go back to work immediately, depending on what you do. We recommend that you avoid sun exposure, sweating, or exercise for 36 hours after treatment.

  • We recommend receiving clearance from your OBGYN prior to treatment if pregnant or breastfeeding.
